1. Michael Jackson is my hero. It would take way too long to explain why, so just take my word for it :)

2. I once had a llama spit directly into my mouth from over 10 ft. away.

3. I think really skinny dudes, or slightly pudgy ones, are way hotter than stereotypical "hot" guys (in general).

4. I refuse to carry even fake versions of designer purses, because I don't want to give off the impression that I actually care about such things.

5. A lot of people think they're procrastinators, but compared to me, they are just normal human beings. I will procrastinate on a work project until it's a month overdue, and will make up various excuses as to why it's not done. Whenever I have completely run out of excuses, I will hyperfocus and get it done in 30 minutes or less, and will usually do a good job and will receive praise for my hard work. As a result, I never learn my lesson :)

6. I have a super cool brain condition called grapheme-color synaesthesia, which means all letters/numbers/words have specific colors that I involuntarily perceive in my brain when I hear or see the words/numbers.

7. I've had several reoccuring dreams that aliens have tried to communicate with me, so a part of me thinks maybe they really are...

I think a total of three people probably read this journal, so this is probably pointless, but I felt it was time to update. And my non-ISC creative PATH mind pretty much has nothing, so I decided to copy off of Ella the Dreamer and post some of my favorite pictures I've taken with my AMAZING Nikon Coolpix 2100 (yep, 2 WHOLE megapixels!). You might sense sarcasm, but honestly, I think this camera has taken some pretty good pictures. And I will have you know, NONE of the following pictures have been Photoshopped or edited in any way (mainly because I took them all in Owensboro and I don't have any way to edit them on my computer there). Once a year, I take a nap. I never plan on it, it just happens. And it's always once a year, and it's always in December. And I HATE when it happens.

Today was my annual nap day. And I'm a raging bitch right now because of it.

People talk about taking "power naps" to refresh themselves??? Fuck that - it takes me at least two days to fully recover from taking a nap. I feel completely worthless and shitty when I awake from my daytime slumber.

At my internship this morning I was suffering from hellacious ovarian aches due to my ovum being unfertilized, so I made the decision to go home and spend the afternoon drinking Swiss Miss and reading in bed. Was I insane? Seriously? Did I not expect to fall asleep?

I wake up, at 6:54 p.m. in my pitch-black room.

"God...damnit," I said out loud. It happened. I took a nap.

So I went through my usual post-nap routine. Sat around feeling sorry for myself because my contacts were sticking to my eyeballs, being pissed because I had morning breath at 7 p.m. and checking my email to realize that day went on without my participation in it.

WORTHLESS P.O.S. is what I am!

Oh, the self-verbal abuse went on and on. Dr. Phil would have had a ball trying to help me control all that inner dialog.

Now I will stay up ridiculously late tonight, and will have to get up ridiculously early to go to work.

Oh, and did you know the word "nap" was derived from the Greek word "napralopolis" which means "the devil's curse"????

Yeah, I made that up.
